How to clean a granite monument
Things you need to know
*Monuments are made out of various material*
*Sandstone - Marble - Granite - etc.*
Always consult a monument shop before using any cleaning product on a headstone.
Do NOT use these products on your monuments!
1. Oils, waxes or dyes
2. Products that contain oils, waxes or dyes
3. WD 40
4. Car wax
5. Furniture polish
6. Stone sealers
7. Varnish
8. Cleaners that are colored
These will stain and ruin your monuments!
Items you will need:
We recommend that you use rubber gloves while cleaning a monument with an acid based cleaner.
Sparks Brick and Tile Cleaner (You can purchase in our store)
Windex spray nozzle
Bott and Sons Clean Stone (You can purchase in our store)
Acid Brush (Purchase at any hardware store)
Water to rinse off headstone
